The bag is named after Eline - the design is inspired by the favourite vintage piece of Lies' friend Eline, who is an ambitious entrepreneur and needed a useful, sturdy handbag. She transformed the original bag completely, making the design more straightforward and adding more practical elements, like a separate padded compartment to carry a laptop.
